Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass in Daphne Blue
Up for sale, here we have a brand new condition (listed as Mint due to the fact that we’re not an authorized Fender dealer) and unplayed, never “broken in” Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass in a gorgeous Daphne Blue.
Lightweight at 8.6 Lbs, perfectly balanced. Made in Corona, CA USA in late 2022/early 2023.
The new American Vintage II 1960 is a rot of reincarnation of the American Vintage ’62 (AV’62), the neck profile with a slab board fretboard is pretty much the same and different from the previous AV’63 and AO’60s with thicker profiles and veneer fretboard.
The neck profile is a slim “C” profile with .790″ neck thickness at 1st fret, typical 1.75″ nut width, 7.25″ radius slab fretboard, reverse tuners and spaghetti logo. The neck is perfectly straight with truss rod working flawlessly. It’s strung with the original and fresh factory strings and it plays exactly as a good old P-Bass should.
The color is amazing, a beautiful Nitrocellulose finish in Daphne blue, with a 4-ply Tortoise pickguard and a dark rosewood fingerboard. A stunning look.
The instrument comes with all its original Brown tolex hardcase and all case candy including Certificate of Authenticity and tags, stickers, pickups and bridge covers (never installed). Still with plastics ont he tuners, pickups and pickguard., therefore 100% all original without any blemishes at all. This is the cheapest AV II 1960 P-Bass listed.
It will be professionally packed, insured and with FREE Shipping to Continental US only.
